Sunless tanning has evolved into one of the best ways to get that lovely bronze all year long, prepping for a tan is easy and the whole process takes only 15 minutes or less.
So how do you prep? Moisture is key, for a week or days before being sure to stay hydrated, both internally and externally. Hydrated moisturized skin will hold the tan better and you will have the best even color. So here is a list of dos and don’ts before your next spray tan.
1. Hydration- water and moisturizer.
2. Exfoliate- use an exfoliator days and weeks before to eliminate dry skin.
3. Shave the day before.
4. No deodorant, lotion., perfume or makeup, if possible, the day of, or allow time to remove it prior to your tan.
5. Wear loose clothes to your appointment.
6. Use an aftercare product to protect and prolong your tan.
7. Gently exfoliate when you see your tan is starting to fade.
Processing times can vary based on the products you use; we have both tradition developer that take 4 hours or we can also do a rapid so you can shower as soon as 1 hour after your appointment.
Cost per service, a 4-hour tan will cost anything from $44-$50 and a rapid tan will cost anything from $55-$60 depending on how much solution is used.
